About Us
VocSolutions Inc. was founded in 1999 by Dan Shafer, an Occupational Therapist who found a niche in injury prevention by combining his background in technology with his formalized training in human anatomy and kinesiology. Dan and his team continue to provide services with a focus on root cause analysis, professionalism, respect, and the expert application of our knowledge of body mechanics / equipment / resources.

Our People
We are a team of trained and certified health and safety professionals. The VocSolutions professional evaluators are all Occupational or Physical Therapists with certifications in Ergonomics as well as 10+ years of experience providing ergonomics consulting services in a variety of environments including office, manufacturing, laboratory, health care, and industrial.
Our Services
We believe in the consistent use of low-risk postures as the most effective solution for reducing injury and discomfort. Equipment recommendations can be beneficial when these devices are determined to be able to assist in the use of low-risk technique and postures, but arbitrarily throwing equipment at a problem in hopes of a solution is a costly and unproductive exercise. OTs and PTs with ergonomics expertise are uniquely qualified to assess people, jobs and risk factors using the most effective methodologies.
